We recently purchased a 2026 Certified Pre-Owned Outback Premium and were able to buy at our own pace, with zero pressure. Having worked in the car business myself, I know firsthand that it’s not often you come across an entire dealership staff that is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and truly cares about their customers the way the team at City Limits Subaru does. Because of that, I want to give a proper shout-out to everyone who helped make this deal possible from start to finish—and helped make the numbers make sense for us to upgrade now rather than later.
They accommodated my hectic work schedule, knowing I wouldn’t be able to arrive until about 15 minutes before closing. When I got there, everything was prepared. Everything is always wonderful…except the automated helper made an appointment at a time they were slammed. It usually takes an hour, but today took over two. Why bother making an appointment? To be fair, this is a first…they have always been right on time. Great employees and amenities! Usually, don’t mind coming. Usually rate it a five star except for automated appointments!
They didn't want to give me what I felt my trade is worth but I do feel that I purchased a great car from them at a fair price. Already had my financing so it was very straightforward.

Holy cow! Austin Subaru said it would take at least 2 or 3 days before they could even look at my car. City limits not only invited me to bring the car in next day, they also had a loaner. When I picked up the car, I swear they also cleaned it. 10/10 best dealer and dealer servicing I’ve ever seen.

I can honestly say I was able to put all of those anxieties behind me after my experience yesterday at City Limits Subaru.
From my initial contact through the completion of my purchase, the experience could not have been better or easier. My initial anxiety and my very defensive, “I’m ready to walk” attitude—quickly faded as each step of the process was handled with integrity, transparency, and courtesy.
Luciano, my Sales Advisor, was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally patient with my many questions. Cobi, the Finance Manager, explained every step of the financing process clearly and thoroughly. He was organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely a pleasure to work with.
At 77, and after many car purchases over the years, I can honestly say this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had.

This review is long overdue. Will took excellent care of my car and I! My AC went out in the middle of summer, and Will and the folks at city limits Subaru went out of their way to help get it fixed for me for a reasonable price. I’d had a horrible experience at Austin Subaru up north, and I was extremely reluctant to take my car to any dealership ever again, but city limits Subaru has renewed my faith in humanity and customer service. Y’all are wonderful, thank you so much for your help!

I would rate the service at this dealership better except for the follow-through on the problems I've reported with this car. I'm pretty forgiving when the people at a business are so nice and knowledgeable. However, the two times I've had my new-to-me car in for servicing, they have not taken care of my problems.
The first time was for needing new wiper blades (shouldn't they have been replaced when I bought the car with a full warranty?). I specifically stated both front and back wipers. Yet when I went to drive the car away, I realized the back wipers hadn't been replaced. I had to go back, wait on my service guy to be available and to point out he'd forgotten the rear blades. OK. Not that big a deal, but then the second time I took the car in for oil change and checkup....
I told the service rep (the second time I've brought it up) that my key fob isn't working properly, mainly not responding well. He changed the battery in it and told me he'd checked it out and it was now doing great. I drove directly to a grocery store, got out of my car and locked the door with the inside switch. As soon as I stepped outside and closed the door, the car alerted me. Now the ONLY way I can lock my car is by waiting until I'm outside the car and using the key fob. I haven't for 20+ years had to pull my key fob out and carry it around in my hand to lock/unlock my car, so this is driving me crazy. And why wouldn't he have noticed this malfunction with the inside lock if he'd thoroughly checked out the entire locking system?
Because I live 45 minutes away from the dealership, not getting things fixed after telling the representatives why I'm there is very frustrating. And I will definitely cut people some slack (like the first guy with the wiper blades). But this seems like a pattern......
I rate my overall experience a good and pleasant experience. Frank, our salesperson, gave us the time and attention and never made me feel rushed. The finance manager was a good communicate and gave us the time and room to thoroughly read over the final agreement. My last dealer I went to showed annoyance when I started declining add-ons - I did not experience that this time at City Limits. My top choice in the area.

When the service department called me in about a week after receiving our custom ordered new car to get the accessories we ordered installed, it turned out they had not actually received all the accessories, so they had to keep it a day longer than expected. That was no big deal, but then when I went to pick up the car, they had installed front seat covers instead of the rear seat covers we had ordered. Now that’s not entirely the service department's fault since it was a different department that ordered the wrong part. But now I have to go back again to get the rear seat covers installed, and I 'haven't had time, so I'm having to cover my backseat with towels to protect it from my dogs for like a month. So that’s been fairly frustrating.
What’s worse is that ALL of these accessory issues could have been avoided if our sales rep had placed the order for the vehicle that I had submitted through the national Subaru website to their dealership almost 3 months before we received the car (it was that online submission of an order that led to my first phone call from our sales rep). I guess after we came in and test drove a similar model, our sales rep must have created a whole new order rather than using the one I submitted online because my original order had included EXACTLY the accessories that we wanted, AND it would have cost over $1000 less if the manufacturer had installed these accessories rather than having to come in for multiple service appointments to get them installed at the dealership, AND it would have come with the correct rear seat cover protecting our interior all along, and saving me another day of back and forth to the dealership service department.
Another reason we are unhappy with our experience at City Limits Subaru is because, when you place an order for a car and wait almost 3 months for delivery, why do they wait until you've been at the dealership for over 3 hours on the day you're picking it up when you're signing the paperwork to FINALLY present you with extended warranty options? Nobody makes good decisions when they're tired and just want to take their new car home, and then they throw all these EXPENSIVE and confusing warranty options at you. We wound up spending an additional 10% over what we planned to pay for the car!!! When we finally received the detailed paperwork for the warranty, the car rental coverage, among other details, is pathetic. Now we have serious buyer's remorse over the extended warranty. The car we love, but we shouldn't have spent the extra $5K on the paltry warranty coverage. The worst part is they way they wait to throw it at you at the end with no time to seriously consider the options and the substantial additional expense. This is WAY worse than grocery stores putting candy kids' eye level in the checkout lanes, but it's the same basic idea for how they drive their income WAY up at the very end of the sale. We absolutely RESENT this part of the process and think they should give serious buyers more time in advance to weigh their options.
Again, if we were writing this review about the people we worked with, it would be 5 stars. The problems at City Limits Subaru are systemic and need to be addressed by upper management.

The entire purchase process, including viewing vehicles, trading-in our previous car, financing, and setting up the electronics after the purchase, was done courteously, professionally, and efficiently. Our sales advisor, Diego Hernandez, went out of his way to be helpful, kind and informative. We visited this dealership because its customer ratings are so high and Subarus are safe, reliable and comfortable according to consumer magazines and websites. The dealership lives up to its reputation for excellent customer service.
Quick and efficient, with the 600 mi warranty maintenance. Left vehicle washed and clean. The service manager was cordial and informative. We enjoyed the snack bar in the customer lounge.

Went in for the first time to get an oil change and had a great experience. Helpful with trying to diagnose a new jerking acceleration concern, comfortable waiting area that feels like a living room. Abel was a great service coordinator who kept us up to speed with the progress. Really liked the video inspection provided as well. I will be back in the future.

Afterward I told Patrick that I would gladly drive the two hours to City Limits to get my Outback serviced again.
They were efficient, kept me informed, and answered all my questions. They let me know that I might need some more work but allowed me to come back later.

Consistently a bad experience here multiple times the service people have forgot about me and I’ve had to go check on how long it might take to finish off one of their room here for they are also aggressively expensive. They only really good thing here is that they have snack area with a coffee bar.
Every time I interact with anyone in the Serbice department, they refer to me by my name (not my husband’s). They know I am the one that drives and takes care of the car. I am informed and I am not pressured into any decision. They listen! I recommend using their service department even if you do not drive a Subaru!
Compared to car dealerships I've dealt with over the years, City Limits is truly exceptional. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the facilities are clean and comfortable when I'm waiting for service, and they make me feel valued as customer. Can't recommend them highly enough!

When I picked up my car, it was not cleaned outside or inside. I have had this done very well for previous service that was less extensive at City Limits. In fact, there was black grease on my visor and inside headliner, as well as a dirty rag was left inside and the windshield was not properly cleaned after putting on a new rear view mirror. For all I spent to get my car repaired I expected a thorough cleaning inside and out. My car was there for two weeks. All in all the lack of empathy and coolness from my advisor, coupled with all the rest left a bad taste in my mouth.
